We are very excited about Neudesic becoming a part of IBM

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

As IBM Consulting's Microsoft-focused platform, Neudesic will play a strategically significant role in creating opportunity and value in the Microsoft ecosystem. This creates a fantastic arena for each of us, to learn more, expand the possibilities, and have a tremendous impact on this exciting and dynamic technology landscape.

The following FAQ has been created to help answer a number of questions as we begin this new chapter. Should you have any additional questions, please contact your Department Vice President or the Human Resources Department.

IBM Business Conduct Guidelines

Please refer to the Business Conduct Guidelines here. Access to the Business Amenities Policy can be found here.

Please understand that we will be working with IBM now and into the future to ensure our policies further align.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Human Resources Department at HR@Neudesic.com.

We chose to become a part of IBM to extend and expand our capabilities, provide significantly greater opportunities for each of you to grow your careers, and for us to compete at a much higher level and in a bigger playing field. Leading IBM’s Microsoft focus within their Hybrid Cloud strategy we will become the largest and most strategic global partner with Microsoft.

While Neudesic is now a wholly owned IBM company, it will operate as a separate and independent legal entity within the IBM family in each country. For example, all communications relating to your employment with Neudesic and its business operations, will continue to come from the Neudesic leadership team and management.

Now that we are part of IBM, customers will see additional value over time in the form of greater vertical expertise, increased development of assets to accelerate their digital transformation and the expanded offerings we will be able to provide. Neudesic will continue to manage our client relationships and delivery.

At this time there is no change to the employment relationship. All employees remain employees of Neudesic in their country and on the same Neudesic employee benefits programs, compensation, time off, position role/responsibilities, reporting structure, tenure, general policies and procedures, etc.

As a wholly owned IBM company, we will refer to Neudesic as “Neudesic, an IBM company”. Our company logo has changed as follows. Look for more information coming from our Marketing and Sales teams in support of continued company messaging and branding.

Neudesic IBM Logo

Neudesic will continue to operate as a regional model under current market leadership, programs and processes. Together with IBM, we will look to find ways to increase our market reach and capabilities as we continue to thrive and grow globally.

Given the significant decline in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations throughout the United States, and based on our business needs, we will lift our vaccination requirement for all Neudesic U.S. offices as of June 1st, 2022 - where not otherwise required by local mandates. This means that as of June 1st, as long as conditions remain favorable, Neudesic U.S. offices will be open to all employees. Employees, contractors and other visitors will no longer be required to be vaccinated to enter our U.S. sites.

Accommodations will remain in effect for Neudesic employees who wish to remain working remotely, provided that remote work is consistent with the work patterns and requirements of their teams and clients. For Neudesic employees in client-facing positions, we expect that many clients will continue to have COVID-19 vaccination requirements, and Neudesic will comply.  However, if clients, business partners, vendors, etc., are amenable and do not have their own building vaccination requirements, Neudesic employees may resume visiting those non-Neudesic buildings now, before June 1st.

We will continue to monitor COVID-19 transmission rates in the U.S., as well as changing regulatory needs, and will further adjust our policy as needed. We understand that some of you may have concerns about this change. This decision was made taking into consideration the greatly reduced levels of community risk in the United States at this time. We will continue to monitor risk and encourage all Neudesic employees to get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 as this has proven to significantly reduce the severity of the virus.

You will not be required to relocate.

Neudesic employees will continue to report to their Neudesic manager. Any changes to reporting lines or job roles will follow existing Neudesic policy and procedures.

Neudesic remains a separate legal entity within the IBM family of companies and will continue to operate under existing people management and performance review processes. Over time and if appropriate, Neudesic may adopt for themselves some of IBM’s people management process. The opposite could also happen with IBM adopting some of Neudesic’s processes.

Over time, you will learn more about IBM’s career development tracks, along with other IBM people management processes that map to similar programs here at Neudesic.

Some things will change over time now that Neudesic has become an IBM company. As an IBM company, Neudesic will adopt, as their own, some of IBM’s Corporate programs such as the IBM Corporate Business Conduct Guidelines and Ethics & Compliance policies, which are very similar to those which exist in Neudesic today. There will be further communication regarding these programs and others from the Neudesic leadership team in the weeks to come.
